Over 6,000 Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails to go on hunger strike

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - More than 6,000 Palestinian prisoners in Israeli occupation jails have decided to go on a single day hunger strike on 3rd of July to protest the Israeli occupation authority’s repressive policy against them.They said in a statement on Tuesday that the strike would protest the solitary confinement policy and the deprivation of education.The prisoners called on all Palestinian factions to immediately act in unison against the IOA cruel measures, and to call for an emergency meeting for the Arab League to discuss their issue.They also urged the Palestinian people within and outside the occupied homeland to go on a two-hour hunger strike on that same day as a show of solidarity with the prisoners./129
